Seeds - Zucchini (Striato d'Italia)

A classic Italian striped zucchini with outstanding flavor and impressive productivity! Striato d'Italia is Seeds From Italy's most popular zucchini variety, prized for its firm texture, excellent eating quality, and ability to produce over a long growing season.

The attractive fruits are dark green with light green stripes and subtle ribbing. For the best flavor and tenderness, harvest zucchini when they reach approximately 6–8 inches long, although the fruits maintain good eating quality at sizes up to 10–12 inches.

Striato d'Italia is a bush-type zucchini, but the vigorous plants can become quite large and should be given plenty of growing space. The plants also produce an abundance of edible squash blossoms that can be harvested for traditional Italian stuffed or fried squash blossom recipes.

This versatile variety performs well in both warm and cooler conditions and has good heat tolerance.
