Radicchio (Leonardo)

Dense, compact heads with bright purple-red leaves and crisp white ribs. This Chioggia-type radicchio has a pleasantly bitter flavor that becomes sweeter and more vibrant in cooler weather. Uniform, slow-bolting, and well suited for fall and cool-season gardens. Delicious fresh in salads or grilled, roasted, and sautéed.
