A classic Italian oregano with large, highly aromatic leaves and bold flavor! Origano Perenne Comune is a traditional perennial oregano prized for its robust growth and intense culinary flavor.
The flavorful leaves can be harvested fresh throughout the growing season or dried for later use. Italian oregano is an essential herb for pizza, pasta sauces, roasted vegetables, marinades, soups, meats, and countless Mediterranean dishes.
This perennial herb can return year after year when grown in a suitable climate. Start seeds in early spring and transplant outdoors after the danger of frost has passed, spacing plants approximately 12 inches apart. Established plants can be divided approximately every three years to maintain vigorous growth and create additional plants.
