A fast-growing Italian favorite! Cima di Rapa Quarantina is one of the earliest varieties of cima di rapa, producing tender greens and small flowering shoots in as little as 28–33 days, depending on growing conditions.

Known in the U.S. as broccoli rabe or rapini, cima di rapa is a staple of Italian cooking. The leaves, stems, buds, and flowers are all edible and have a distinctive, pleasantly bitter flavor. It is delicious sautéed with olive oil and garlic, tossed with pasta, served alongside meats, or enjoyed as a flavorful side dish.

Quarantina is a compact variety, typically reaching only 8–10 inches tall. It can be planted in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked and is also well suited for summer and fall plantings. Its quick maturity makes it an excellent choice for succession planting throughout the growing season.
