A crisp and flavorful Italian-style green bean with the convenience of a compact bush plant! Marconi Green Bush produces tender, flat Roma-type beans with excellent flavor and a satisfying crisp texture.
Unlike climbing Marconi varieties, this is a bush bean, growing on productive, upright plants without the need for a tall trellis or pole system. Harvest the pods while they are young and tender for the best flavor and texture.
With a maturity of approximately 55 days, Marconi Green Bush is a great choice for succession planting. Sow a new crop approximately every three weeks to extend your harvest throughout the growing season.
Plant after the soil has warmed, sowing seeds approximately 1–2 inches deep and 2 inches apart in rows about 12 inches apart.
