A distinctive Italian basil with exceptionally large leaves and an intense flavor and aroma! Bolloso Napoletano, also known as Basil Napoletano, is a traditional big-leaf basil variety from the Naples region of Italy.

The plants produce beautiful, dark green, wrinkled leaves that can grow as large as your hand. Unlike some large-leaf basil varieties that sacrifice flavor for size, Bolloso Napoletano is prized for its strong basil fragrance and rich, aromatic flavor.

The oversized leaves make this variety especially useful in the kitchen and are excellent for pesto, pasta, pizza, salads, sandwiches, sauces, and other fresh preparations. Plants perform best in full sun.
